[WATCH LIVE] Acting Health minister updates on govt's Covid-19 response, vaccine rollout
The Acting Minister of Health, Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane is expected to brief the media this morning on government’s Covid-19 response.
Kubayi-Ngubane will be joined by Public Service and Administration Minister Senzo Mchunu and a panel of experts.
The joint virtual briefing will also include an update on the national vaccination rollout programme.
South Africa recorded a total of 16 078 new infections on Thursday, which brings a total number of laboratory-confirmed cases to 1 877143.
