[WATCH] MP accused of shopping for booze during parliamentary proceedings
Updated | By Nokukhanya N Mntambo
Members of Parliament were up in arms on Wednesday when a video of another MP at a liquor store briefly disrupted proceedings.
The National Assembly's hybrid sitting featured an oral questions session with six Ministers in the Peace and Security Cluster – Defence and Military Veterans, Home Affairs, International Relations and Coooperation, Justice and Correctional Services, Police and State Security.
While ACDP leader Kenneth Meshoe spoke in the National Assembly, an MP’s video briefly switches on and shows him in what appears to be a liquor store.
The video then cuts abruptly but not before his colleagues took notice.
