The emotions of Nokuthula Simelane's murder 33 years ago were revisited again in the Pretoria Magistrates Court on Friday.
The four apartheid-era Soweto Special Branch police officers - Msebenzi Radebe, Willem Coetzee, Anton Pretorius and Frederick Mong - were all released on R5000 bail.
Radebe has been charged with murder, while the other three were charged for murder and abduction.

Simelane's sister, Thembi Nkadimeng, spoke to media afterwards and explained the hurt they still feel in not knowing exactly what happened to the 23-year-old so many years ago.
"You can see my mom is emotionally charged and I think it cuts deeper with her than with all of us. She bore a child that she can't be able to find closure and an explanation of her whereabouts 33 years down the line," she said.
