We must love ourselves: Malema
Updated | By Maryke Vermaak
EFF leader Julius Malema has addressed hundreds of supporters in Joubert Park in Johannesburg as part of Africa Day celebrations.

He says in order to succeed, Africans need to stand together.
"Why do you love white so much? Why do you hate your own African brothers? When you chase foreigners, you never chase white, Indian or Chinese people. You always go for Africans, because you suffer from self-hate. It's because you don't love yourself," says Malema.

Malema says Africans are slaves of white masters, who planted a seed of self-hate amongst black people.
"We must love ourselves. We must protect each other," says Malema.
