WEATHER: Extremely hot in places

Extremely hot conditions are expected in places over western interior of the Northern Cape and the interior of the West Coast District of the Western Cape.
Very hot and dry weather will result in extremely uncomfortable conditions over in places over western interior of the Northern Cape, interior of the West Coast District and south-western parts of the Cape Winelands of the Western Cape.
Gauteng: Cloudy in the morning with fog patches on the High ground, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Johannesburg: 17 / 25
Mpumalanga: Fog patches on the High ground and drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise cloudy at times and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers. It will be warm in places in the Lowveld.

Emalahleni: 15 / 24
Limpopo: Fog and drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise cloudy at times and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.
Polokwane: 16 / 23
North West: Cloudy at first, becoming partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.
Rustenburg: 17 / 24
Free State: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the north-east and east where it will be cloudy in the morning with fog patches.
Bloemfontein: 15 / 29
Northern Cape: Warm along the coast, otherwise fine and hot to very hot becoming partly cloudy in the northeast with isolated showers and thundershowers in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate south-easterly becoming
south-westerly.
Kimberley: 16 / 29
Western Cape: Warm along the south coast, otherwise fine and hot to very hot. It will be extremely hot in places in the western interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly but strong in places between Cape Point and Cape Agulhas.
Cape Town: 18 / 32
Eastern Cape: Partly cloudy in the morning, otherwise fine and warm. The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly to north-easterly.
Port Elizabeth: 13 / 25
KwaZulu-Natal: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain. The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-easterly becoming easterly to north-easterly from the south later.
