Severe thunderstorms leading to possible heavy downpours and localised flooding is expected over the southern Highveld and escarpment of Mpumalanga, the north-eastern Free State and the western parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

Gauteng: Morning fog patches over the highveld, otherwise cloudy at times and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers.

Mpumalanga: Cloudy at times and cool with morning fog patches on the highgrounds, otherwise scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the Lowveld where it will be warm.

Limpopo: Hot over western Bushveld and Limpopo Valley, otherwise cloudy at times and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers in the south, otherwise isolated.

North West: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east but scattered in the north-east. It will be hot in the west.

Free State: Fine in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the north-east.

Northern Cape: Fine and warm to hot but cool along the coast with morning fog patches.

Western Cape: Fine and warm to hot but cool in places along the coast where cloudy at first. Fog patches are expected along the south-coast in the morning.
