Welcome relief for motorists

Motorists will be able to breathe a little bit easier in February thanks to a slight decrease in the price of fuel.
The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy has announced that the fuel price will decrease from Wednesday.
Both grades of petrol will decrease by 13 cents a litre while diesel will be 5 cents a litre cheaper.

"The main reason for these price adjustments is the lower oil prices since the outbreak of the coronavirus in China and also the fact that the rand on average appreciated against the dollar when compared to the previous cycle," says the department's spokesperson Robert Maake.
