What customers think: Pick 'n Pay to start selling food on credit

Only a select few will be able to buy groceries on credit at Pick 'n Pay.

The giant supermarket is the latest to join the likes of Woolworths in offering its customers the option of purchasing food on credit. 


Pick 'n Pay says it will use its Smart Shopper card programme to select shoppers who qualify to buy on credit. 


Here's what some customers think about the move: 


South Africa's second-largest retailer is offering the credit option with credit limits of between R1000 and R40 000. 


It comes with a low monthly store account fee of R10.
