Woman arrested for stabbing boyfriend to death in Midrand
A 22-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death in Midrand.
Gauteng police arrested the woman on Monday after the couple’s neighbours alerted them to the incident.
Spokesperson Mavela Masondo said the victim was stabbed in the upper body.
He was declared dead on the scene.
“Preliminary investigation led to the arrest of a woman who was reported to be the girlfriend of the deceased,” said Masondo.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Alexandra Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
