Zuma condemns ‘disrespectful’ leak of letter to Chief Justice
The Jacob Zuma Foundation has condemned the leaking of a letter to the Chief Justice following a legal blow in his recusal case against retired Justice Sisisi Khampepe.
The former president and his predecessor, Thabo Mbeki, approached the high court to have Khampepe removed as the chairperson of the TRC cases commission, alleging she may be biased.
Their case was dismissed on Monday.

The foundation’s spokesperson Mzwanele Manyi, condemned the leak, saying a statement would be issued once they were ready to inform the public of their next move.
“We caution against the leaking of confidential correspondence for mischievous purposes. The letter was only circulated to the parties in the litigation as it is required by legal ethics. H.E President Zuma strongly condemns the disrespectful leaking of the letter.”
On Monday, Manyi said the foundation would consider its options after consulting its lawyers.
