Zuma “not sick”: Maharaj
Updated | By Bronwyn Hardick
President Jacob Zuma was undergoing a series of health checks on Wednesday, presidential spokesman Mac Maharaj said.
"He is not sick. He is having routine checks," he said.
This followed a report on SAFM that he was in hospital in Durban.
The "battery of tests" was being conducted at "different hospitals".
"He will be on his way to Cape Town today (Wednesday). He has meetings. in fact I will not be surprised if he is on his way already," Maharaj said.
Zuma, who turns 71 in April, apologised during his state-of-the-nation address on February 14 for having flu.
