Zuma-Sambudla incitement trial set for November

A trial date has been set in the case against former President Jacob Zuma's daughter, and uMhonto WeSizwe Member of Parliament, Duduzile Zuma Sambudla.
The trial has been set for the 10th to the 21st of November, where the state intends to call at least eight witnesses.
Zuma-Sambudla returned to the Durban High Court on Thursday, where she faces charges of inciting terrorism and public violence linked to the July 2021 unrest.
More than 300 people lost their lives, and the country suffered over R50 billion in economic losses, due to the violence that broke out in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng.
Zuma Sambudla’s trial has been set for the 10th to the 21st of November. The state intends calling at least 8 witnesses, three of them experts on social media.

The deadly violence began after former President Zuma was jailed for contempt of court after defying an order to appear before the State Capture Commission.
