The 38-year-old forward outjumped Ivorian goalkeeper Ira Tape to nod a deep cross into the net on 19 minutes in northeastern city Mbombela.

His match-winning goal brought him level with Ivorian Junior Dion of Golden Arrows, as the leading scorers in the league.

"No one can match Bradley as a goalmouth predator. Give him a quality supply and he will find the net," said Sekhukhune coach and 1996 Africa Cup of Nations-winning midfielder Eric Tinkler.

Sekhukhune, who train in Johannesburg but travel 325 kilometres for home matches in northern city Polokwane, are more successful when playing away.

United have secured 16 points from eight away matches and 13 from nine at home. Their 29 points place them fifth, three points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns having played two matches more.

Before visiting Galaxy, Sekhukhune secured only one point from three home matches over eight days. They lost to Stellenbosch, drew with Orlando Pirates and were beaten by Sundowns.

Sundowns, chasing a ninth straight league title, will surrender top spot on Tuesday when AmaZulu host Pirates.

A win for AmaZulu will lift the Durban club from fourth place to first. Second-placed Pirates need one point to rise above Sundowns.
