Hougaard is a professional for the South African Rugby Union. He toured with the Springboks in 2009, making appearances at the team’s matches against France, Italy, England, and Ireland. He also helped his team the Bulls win the Currie Cup in 2009 and the Super Rugby title in 2010, in which he was named Man of the Match in the game against the All Blacks in Soweto. In 2011, he was nominated as SA Rugby Player of the Year.

Lochte is an American competitive swimmer with 11 Olympic medals under his Speedo. He also holds the world record for the long court 4x200m freestyle relay.

Mikel is a professional footballer who plays for the Nigeria national team and for English club Chelsea. He was a key player for his country in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, helping them to win the continental title for the fifth time. He also debuted at the FIFA World Cup in 2014, earning Man of the Match when the Super Eagles played against Iran in the opening game.

South African swimmer Le Clos holds the record for the 50m and 100m butterfly competitions in the Commonwealth Games, while he also has two medals from the 2012 Olympic Games. At the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics, he earned five medals and has also won the Overall Swimming World Cup twice. He has recently been making headlines again for his swimming prowess.

Hamilton is the current Formula One World Champion, and was also the champion in 2008. He has often been labelled the “first black driver in Formula One”, and is also the first driver of black African heritage to win a major Indianapolis Motor Speedway race. He set several records in his first season in Formula One and is the only driver currently to win a minimum of one race in every season in which he has competed.
