Kolisi fit to lead Springboks in France, as injury rules out Pollard

Siya Kolisi has been named as the captain after returning from injury.

The bad news is the absence of fly-half Handre Pollard, who has been ruled out due to a calf injury.

Centre Lukhanyo Am also misses the global showpiece with a knee injury, and illness will prevent lock Lood de Jager from taking part.

The Springboks begin their title defence with a Pool B match against Scotland on September 10.
