Mthethwa meets with CSA to appoint interim board
Updated | By Anastasi Mokgobu
Minister of Sports Arts and Culture Nathi Mthethwa is set to finalise details of the new interim board for Cricket South Africa (CSA).
This comes after the resignation of all board members at CSA following this weekend’s resignation of Acting President Beresford Williams alongside Angelo Carolissen, John Mogodi, Donovan May, Tebogo Siko and Dheven Dharmalingam.
The rest of the board resigned on Monday morning and that was confirmed to the minister.
Departmental spokesperson, Masechaba Khumalo, says Mthethwa held consultative meetings with the CSA Members Council, SASCOC and the South African Cricketers Association (SACA) throughout Tuesday.
"The meetings with SASCOC and SACA were intended to share the outcomes of the meeting with CSA for the purpose of keeping key role-players abreast of the latest developments.
"The meeting with the Members Council of CSA was constructive and the Minister expressed his appreciation of their leadership," says Khumalo.

"Further details will be announced by the end of this week," adds Khumalo.
