Usuthu vows to target ‘wounded’ Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday

AmaZulu are aiming to collect all three points when they take on a struggling Kaizer Chiefs outfit at Kings Park in Durban on Wednesday.
Usuthu’s previous league encounter against Bloemfontein Celtic ended all square while Chiefs were beaten 2-0 by Maritzburg United over the weekend.
AmaZulu defender Limbikani Mzava says they are not planning to show Chiefs any mercy.
“As a player, we need to check on what we are not doing well from the past game and then we need also to take advantage to this game because we are at home.
“Of course, I know people say Chiefs is not in a good way now and not performing, but you know football. I feel like if we have one goal as a team, we have to win this game because we need three points more than them and we don’t care if they are down or not doing well, but we are focusing on every game to collect maximum three points.”
Mzava says they are adapting to new coach Benni McCarthy’s style of football.
“So far so good. Like I said, when I joined the team, all the coaches had their own tactics. Coached by coach Dlamini and I feel like everything was okay with his own tactics and also coach Benni comes in and I see that with how he wants us to play, we are adjusting to it well.
“I can see that with four to five games with him, I believe we are going to be perfect at the back.”

Amakhosi will be without talismen Khama Billiat and Leonardo Castro who both sustained injuries in the match against Maritzburg.
Goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi says they need to win back the trust of supporters.
“I think so far we have not been coming all right with our decisions in games, but I don’t want to go into technical matters now. What I want to say mentally right now we should be strong when going into our next game.
“We have quality players whom we rely upon and the team rely upon, but sometimes we keep on disappointing ourselves. But I am thinking the next game to AmaZulu, we are taking the pain to AmaZulu, it's high time we make ourselves happy and the fans happy.”
