A controversial device that has helped hundreds lose weight in the US by pumping their stomachs in the comfort of their homes is creating a stir.
Aspire Assist is a device that allows you to 'eat like a pig' and still lose the weight. In a 15 minute procedure doctors fit a tube into your stomach through your abdomen to whcih you attached a small pump that pumps undigected food out of your stomach into a small bag that you can then empty into the toilet.
They say that through 'pumping' your stomach you can avoid digesting almost a third of your daily food intake.
