Ard Matthews performs acoustic version of ‘What He Means’ on Friday Live

Ard Matthews joined Breakfast with Martin Bester ahead of Rock on the Lawns.

The Just Jinjer frontman will be on stage with the likes of Karen Zoid, Zebra & Giraffe, Opposite The Other, Southern Wild, and Hellcats at Rock on the Lawns 2019.

Ard has now moved on to focus on his solo career and writes and records all his original music from Hout Bay in Cape Town. Ard proudly told Martin Bester that his studio is housed in the converted dungeon of an historic castle, which he recently bought and made his home! How cool!

Matthews performed ‘What He Means’ on Friday Live, fitting for the tragedy which happened in New Zealand. At least one gunman who targeted crowded mosques in the New Zealand city of Christchurch killed a number of people on Friday, police said, with Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern describing the shooting as "one of New Zealand's darkest days".
