This is who will headline the 2026 FIFA World Cup closing ceremony

The closing ceremony will take place on Sunday, 19 July.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup has been a journey filled with emotion, excitement and some controversy, but mostly national pride.
Now, the journey is coming to an end with a final clash between Argentina and Spain.
Ahead of the massive game, FIFA is also preparing for a show-stopping closing ceremony, which will take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday, 19 July.
On Wednesday, 15 July, FIFA announced that global superstar Post Malone will headline the closing ceremony.

“At a time when sport, culture and global attention converge, Post Malone will deliver a performance designed to celebrate the tournament’s journey and ignite the atmosphere before the world’s attention turns to the two finalists,” FIFA president Gianni Infantino said in a statement.
“We are thrilled to have so many stars taking to the pitch, from both the football and entertainment worlds. The closing ceremony will set the tone for a historic FIFA World Cup final, uniting the passion of 48 teams, 16 host cities and millions of fans on one unforgettable stage.”
A star-studded affair
FIFA also revealed that Jennifer Hudson will sing the national anthem on the day.
The closing ceremony will also feature performances from global music stars Nicole Scherzinger, Laura Pausini and Robbie Williams.
Superstar Tom Cruise and streamer IShowSpeed will also make appearances.
The World Cup Final Halftime Show will also be a massive affair, with BTS, Justin Bieber, Madonna and Shakira co-headlining the 11-minute performance.
