"I was a little bit worried": Katy Perry’s giant water bottle stunt nearly goes wrong
Katy Perry said she was a little worried after her giant water bottle stunt did not go exactly as planned.
Katy Perry has gone viral after a stunt at one of her recent shows nearly went wrong.
While crowd-surfing on a giant inflatable water bottle at the Isle of MTV Malta festival on 22 July, the ‘I Kissed a Girl’ singer seemingly became stuck above the crowd after drifting too far away from the stage.

“Go back to the stage!” Perry shouted in a video of the incident.
Luckily, before things got out of hand, the crowd managed to roll Perry back towards a giant straw near the stage.
Although many reports claimed that the pop star had become stuck in the inflatable bottle, a representative for Perry later clarified that she was not actually stuck.
“I basically get in this giant inflatable water bottle, and I roll it into the crowd.
“And tonight, I went kind of far, and I was a little bit worried I was not gonna come back,” Perry explained.
The representative also told USA Today’that the stunt forms part of the show’s choreography.
