A Limpopo boy has gone viral after his grandmother posted a video of him beatboxing on Facebook.

According to YOU, the video is already about a year old.

Abigail Steyn, 65, posted the video of her seven-year-old grandson, Arno Steyn, to her Facebook account, and that’s when the views started streaming in.

After just two days, the video had received about 10 000 views. At the time of writing, the video has garnered more than 360 000 views and 12 000 reactions.

“That was quite a shock to me,” said Arno’s dad, 37-year-old Jaco. “We only shared it with family and friends.”

“Little Arno doesn’t think it’s ‘wow’. He doesn’t know what the fuss is all about,” said his mom, 32-year-old Cindy.

The video starts with young Arno asking, “Should I beatbox in Afrikaans or English?”

His dad, Jaco, replies, “You don’t beatbox in Afrikaans or English,” adding that it’s a whole different, funny language.

Arno then starts beatboxing, creating impressive beats, rhythms and pops with his mouth.

The comment section was flooded with people commending the boy on his incredible talent.
