Meet Zozibini Tunzi: Our brand new Miss South Africa
South Africans were overjoyed by Tunzi's win, hailing her as a role-model for natural African beauty. Miss South Africa 2019 joined Breakfast with Martin Bester for a chat!
On Friday, Miss South Africa 2019 was crowned, with Zozibini Tunzi walking away with the crown.
Tunzi hails from the Eastern Cape, is a hardcore Marvel fan, and loves 'Game of Thrones'.

She entered the Miss SA competition in 2017 and was a semi-finalist, but had to wait another two years to walk away with the crown.
Martin Bester called Tunzi on Monday morning to talk about the special crowning moment.
"I dropped to my knees - I hoped my reaction would be prettier," Miss SA 2019 said.

Martin Bester surprised Zozibini Tunzi with a phone call from her mother.
