The night sky looked a little different on Sunday, 7 September, when a Blood Moon and total lunar eclipse took place.

In case you missed it, a rare Blood Moon and total lunar eclipse were visible across Asia, Africa, and parts of Europe on Sunday.

The spectacle had WhatsApp groups and social media in South Africa buzzing, with people sharing photos of the stunning sight across platforms.
