Six strict rules the Prince and Princess of Wales have for their children
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, have a few strict rules their children must follow.
You might think that, due to their royal lineage, rules might look different for Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales' children.
Despite their royal names, the Wales children reportedly have a strict set of household rules they need to follow.
Considering strict royal protocol and household expectations, these royal children probably have more rules to follow than the average child.

Through interviews and online reports, Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, have revealed some of the strict household rules they have for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
And although some of them might seem quite standard, like the rules of any other parent, there are others that have been deemed rather strict and have even caused tension in the household.
Here are six strict rules the Prince and Princess of Wales have for their children:
No phones
"None of our children have any phones, which we are very strict about," William told Eugene Levy on 'The Reluctant Traveler' documentary.
Speaking to broadcaster Luciano Huck, Prince William admitted that this rule is "really hard", as it has caused some tension.
"I think when George moves on to secondary school, then maybe he might have a phone that has no internet access," he added.
Restricted internet access
Part of the "no phone" rule is the royal couple's concern over internet access.
"I think it is the internet access I have a problem with," William told Luciano.
"I think children can access too much stuff they do not need to see online."
William said his kids will only be allowed an "old sort of brick phone" to restrict their access to the internet.
Having dinner together as a family
When asked if the family sits down at the dinner table together, Prince William said: "Yep, absolutely. Yep, definitely. We sit and chat, it is really important."
According to royal chef Darren McGrady, "the children always ate in the nursery until they were old enough to conduct themselves properly at the dining table."
Chores
An insider from the royal family once revealed to The Mirror that the royal household is quite "ordinary", and this includes chores for the children.
"The children help with laying the table, clearing their plates when they have finished eating, and helping with tidying up."
"There is no special treatment," the insider said.
No shouting
"Shouting is absolutely off limits for the children, and any hint of shouting at each other is dealt with by removal," another royal insider told The Sun.

"The naughty child is taken away from the scene of the row or disruption and talked to calmly by either Kate or William."
The royal couple try to teach their children to communicate quietly and kindly, especially during difficult conversations.
Honesty is the best policy
"We are a very open family," Prince William said on 'The Reluctant Traveler'.
"So we talk about things that bother us, and things that trouble us."
Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, want their children to always be honest, and they lead by example through their own actions.
