South African superstar Tyla gets her own Bratz doll
The popular doll brand Bratz has unveiled its new Tyla doll.
South Africa’s Grammy-winning pop star Tyla has been honoured with her very own Bratz doll, celebrating her fashion and superstar status.
The ‘Water’ singer and the global doll brand announced their collaboration on Instagram, unveiling what the doll will look like.
“Tyla and Bratz are making it official, Bratz Pack! From scorchin’ on the charts to serving show-stopping looks, Tyla is about to take the Bratziverse by storm with her signature style, fierce confidence, and full-blown bratitude!” the brand shared.
One of the doll’s looks represents Tyla’s ‘Sands of Time’ outfit from the 2024 Met Gala.
It recreates the sculptural gown that mimicked the appearance of being wrapped in sand. It also comes with a tiny matching hourglass handbag.
The second look is described as “a performance-ready outfit” and features a tie-front crop top, a shimmering skirt with black sequin details, and a gold chain belt with a Bratz charm.
The doll also showcases Tyla’s signature glam, with shoulder-length braids styled in a side part with flipped ends, metallic green eye make-up, and a glossy plum lip.
What else is included?
The doll also comes with two award trophies, gold earrings, a gold necklace, a mini vinyl record of her iconic album ‘TYLA’, a magazine featuring an exclusive artist profile, and her signature tiger with a chain leash.
According to the official Bratz website, the Tyla x Bratz doll will cost $75, approximately R1 300, and purchases will be limited to two dolls per customer when it launches on 27 July.
News24 reported that the doll will, however, make its debut on 24 July at the Bratz pop-up shop inside FAO Schwarz at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
Tyla manifested her Bratz doll
Back in 2024, Tyla took to social media to share her wish to have her own Bratz doll.
Posting a picture of a doll representing her in a blue dress, she wrote: “Imma have my own Tyla doll one day. This cute affff.”
