What was your feel-good song of 2025?
2024 had Brat Summer, following Charli XCX's album 'Brat', and this truly became the overall vibe of music in 2024.
It was mostly upbeat, eclectic, and, in all honesty, a great year for pop and electronic dance music, while still bringing a lot of genre fluidity.
2025, on the other hand, seemed to have quite a different sound.
This year featured music that was melodic, soft, and slightly emotional, with an upbeat sound appearing only here and there.
Many describe it as emotionally direct pop, with country rock and country pop making even more of an impact on music.
That does not make it non feel-good. It was just a slightly different sound.
