Tyla’s A*POP World Tour is headed to South Africa
South Africa’s global superstar Tyla is bringing her A*POP World Tour to South Africa. Here’s when.
The two-time Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter released her highly anticipated ‘A*POP’ album on Friday, 24 July.
Following the release of her second album, Tyla also announced the cities and dates for her A*POP World Tour, and South Africa made the list.
Tyla shared the dates on Instagram on 27 July, revealing that the tour will kick off in Paris, France, on 12 October 2026 and come to an end in her home city of Johannesburg.
On 4 January 2027, the A*POP World Tour will head to Cape Town, followed by its final performance in Johannesburg on 9 January 2027.
Presale tickets open on Wednesday, 29 July, while general ticket sales open on Friday, 31 July.
Tyla urged fans to sign up at TylaWorld.com for early access to tickets.
The South African leg of Tyla’s tour is presented by Showtime Management and Anything Goes.
Cape Town fans will be able to see the ‘Water’ hitmaker at Green Point Track, while the Johannesburg leg of the tour will take place at the Expo Centre, Nasrec.
The A*POP World Tour will see Tyla perform across Europe, North America and Africa.
The tour launches in Paris in October and travels to major European cities, including London, Amsterdam and Berlin. From there, Tyla will take the tour to North America, performing in Chicago, Brooklyn, Toronto, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The tour will conclude in Africa with performances in Lagos, Cape Town and Johannesburg.
According to Time Out South Africa, the concerts are open to fans over the age of six, but guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
