The first teaser trailer for 'Shrek 5' is officially here...
The fifth instalment in the world-famous Shrek franchise has long been teased, and fans have finally been given their first look at ‘Shrek 5’.
Universal Pictures released the official teaser trailer for the film, which is set to be released on 30 June 2027.
The film franchise will return to the big screen for the first time in 17 years.
‘Shrek Forever After’ was the last film in the franchise and was released in 2010.

Here’s what we know about the film so far.
Not much has been revealed about the newest ‘Shrek’ film, but the official teaser trailer gave us a glimpse of what to expect.
The film appears to revolve around Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and Shrek’s family, which includes two sons and a daughter.
In the teaser, Donkey reveals that the group is “going on a journey” and heading “off on another whirlwind big-city adventure”.
Comedy legends Mike Myers, Oscar nominee Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz return to their signature roles as Shrek, Donkey and Fiona.
Emmy-winning superstar Zendaya joins the cast as Shrek and Fiona’s daughter, Felicia, alongside Marcello Hernández, from ‘Saturday Night Live’, and Skyler Gisondo as Felicia’s brothers, Fergus and Farkle.
