The internet was not happy after a video of a tiny studio apartment worth R3.6 million in Sea Point was shared online.
We all know that property in Cape Town is ridiculously expensive, but some listings still come along that leave South Africans in shock due to their price tags.
Once again, the cost of a small apartment in the Mother City is causing a stir online.
Luxury real estate agent Pasha Dos Santos of Pasha Property Global recently took to TikTok to showcase a studio flat in Sea Point that is currently on the market for R3.6 million.

The apartment, which comes fully furnished, fits the kitchen, living area and bedroom into a single open space.
While it offers a partial glimpse of Lion’s Head, the real drawcard is the lifestyle.
Dos Santos, who focuses on the affluent Atlantic Seaboard, highlighted that the location is a winner.
It is within walking distance of the beach and right in the mix of the local nightlife and restaurant scene.
It is also being marketed as a prime opportunity for short-term rentals like Airbnb.

However, social media users are not quite happy.

The comments section quickly filled up with people questioning whether the R3.6 million price tag actually matches what is inside the four walls.
“Ridiculous! R3.6 million for a room?”
“You can’t even change your mind in that studio.”
“So, it’s basically a concrete Wendy house.”
