Internationally recognised and based in Cape Town, The Wine Glass Guy transforms the everyday wine glass into an extraordinary custom musical instrument.
His one-of-a-kind setup features 35 perfectly tuned wine glasses and no water.

Using wine glasses, The Wine Glass Guy plays anything from smooth, chilled deep house sets to surprising renditions of timeless classics and today’s biggest hits. He creates melodies that are just as mesmerising to watch as they are to hear.
Performing across South Africa, The Wine Glass Guy recently took the act overseas to Sweden and is currently in Johannesburg performing at the launch of Africa’s first mixed-reality production studio before heading back to Cape Town.
While in Joburg, Breakfast with Martin Bester just had to see this one-of-a-kind form of entertainment live.
