WATCH: Viral clip shows President Ramaphosa "clocking it"

President Cyril Ramaphosa is yet again showing South Africans that there is also a playful side to him.
During a visit to the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) on Friday, 14 August, he joined students and created a now-viral ‘Clock It’ moment.
A video shared by the South African government shows Ramaphosa “clocking it” during a speech in front of students.
The president can be seen talking to students when, at one point, he taps his index finger and thumb together to “clock it”.
The government simply captioned the video: “#ClockIt”.

The interaction soon turned into the viral ‘Clock It’ trend, with Ramaphosa happily playing along as students around him laughed and cheered.
Ramaphosa was visiting UKZN’s Westville campus in Durban to deliver a public lecture ahead of the 46th Southern African Development Community (SADC) Summit.
During the lecture, the president spoke about regional integration, industrialisation and the importance of Southern African countries working together to build stronger economies.
Although the programme focused on serious regional matters, students were also able to see Ramaphosa’s more light-hearted side.
