Introducing the 12 Days of Rob and Roz!
12. The Traffic Chopper
Have you ever seen journalists or presenters doing live broadcasts while flying around in a helicopter?
The Drive with Rob and Roz had a very special opportunity to go up into the Gaunteng skies and provide listeners with a unique traffic update.
Take a listen:
11. Rob and Roz retake the K53 driver's test
Given that the name of our show includes the word 'drive' and they've been cruising the roads for more than two decades, Rob Forbes and Rozanne McKenzie speculated on how difficult it would be to retake the K53 driver's test.
So naturally, we put them to the test again.

10. The Ultimate Cookie Dunking Combo
The Drive team loves a good taste test.
From hunting down the best tap water in Gauteng to debating whether you can actually taste the cheese on a burger, they’re always up for a challenge – and they don’t just talk about it, they put it to the test!
One of the highlights of the year was the Cookie Dunk Index, which determined the ultimate cookie and drink combination.

9. The Drive helps woman redeem herself after embarrassing onstage moment
To the excitement and joy of thousands of punk rock fans, two iconic American bands, Green Day and The Offspring, made their way to South Africa in 2025.
During the concert, the lead singer of Green Day, Billie Joe Armstrong, asked if anyone in the crowd knew the lyrics to one of their songs, and a concertgoer was chosen and brought on stage.
Unfortunately, the moment was too big, and it was a flop.
The Drive team reached out to Karly Brown, the concertgoer who had sought redemption, and shared her side of the story.

The Drive team once asked Jacaranda FM listeners what discontinued snacks and drinks they miss the most, and Fresca was by far the winner.

3. Which Gauteng area has the best tap water?
No matter who you ask, everyone insists their area has the best tap water – just like debating which province has the best drivers.

Which water will be crowned the best of the best?
