Singer-songwriter Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom were in wedding planning mode when the shocking news broke that the couple had split.

Perry and Bloom have been together for nine years and have a five-year-old daughter together, but they decided to call it quits in 2025.
After the breakup, Perry and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were spotted together, sparking rumours of a potential romance.

Trudeau and his wife, who have been married for 18 years, separated in 2023 and also share three children.
The couple confirmed their romantic relationship and made their first public appearance when they stepped out in Paris, holding hands and celebrating Perry's birthday.

Perry has had some questionable romantic relationships in the past, which have included several fellow celebrities.
In 2014, she was briefly linked to Diplo.
Diplo, whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz, is an American DJ, music producer, and co-creator and lead member of the electronic dancehall music project Major Lazer.

While he has seen incredible success in his own music, he is also the musical brain behind some of the biggest hits you definitely know and love.
He's credited on songs like M.I.A.'s 'Paper Planes', Sia's 'Elastic Heart', 'Where Are Ü Now' featuring Justin Bieber and Skrillex, and even a few Beyoncé tunes.

While playing a game with James Corden on the 2017 Witness World Wide Live stream, Perry ranked Diplo third on her list of best lovers, behind Orlando and John Mayer.
Diplo didn't seem to take the news well, feeling slightly scorned as he tweeted, "I don't even remember having s*x".

Even though Diplo and Perry dated more than a decade ago, he is always happy to continue stirring up drama.
The DJ has been involved in his fair share of controversy and has made headlines with his latest revelation.
While appearing on the “Smart Girl Dumb Questions” podcast, the DJ was discussing the Canadian province of Quebec with host Nayeema Raza.

Diplo called the city of Quebec a "horny" place, and Raza commented that it had a hot prime minister, meaning Trudeau, who is now dating Katy Perry.
Catching everyone off guard, Diplo said, "I did date Trudeau, too. That was a weird one, though. Because I'm just … I'm not in the positions."
No one, including the host, knew if Diplo was joking about this wild claim.

The podcast did clear up any confusion when it replied to the following comment: "Did diplo really date with Tradeau!".
The podcast's official YouTube account clarified: "lol!! no that part was a joke."
