Grammy winner Miley Cyrus changes name
The Grammy-winning musician is moving into a new era.
World-renowned superstar Miley Cyrus is teasing fans with a new era of music, and with it has also come an apparent name change.
The Grammy winner has dropped her last name, Cyrus, as it no longer appears in her Instagram username, bio or even on her website, which is now mileyofficial.com.
Miley also posted a stunning red and black picture, simply captioning it: “Miley”.
Speculation surrounding the apparent name change is growing online.
Many are wondering whether the ‘Flowers’ singer has decided to permanently change her name and become a mononymous artist like Beyoncé, Cher, Rihanna, Adele or Madonna, or if “Miley” is just the name of a new album.
In a previous post, Miley also shared a blurry red and black photo with the caption: “ready and raring for this new era”.
