Husband of Olympics legend prevents attempted robbery in Italy
The married couple have been enjoying being spectators at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.
As a Summer Olympics icon herself, it's no surprise that American gymnast Simone Biles would be in attendance at the Winter Olympics currently taking place in Italy.

Biles, along with her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens, were first spotted in the crowd during the men's figure skating final and have been living their best lives in the host city, Milan.
When they're not attending Olympic events, the couple have obviously decided to make the most of their time in Milan, a fashion capital, by shopping up a storm.

Unfortunately, one of their shopping trips did not go as planned.
The Chicago Bears player shared on social media that he had an unsettling experience while out and about in the city.
Not somebody just tried to snatch my shopping bag in Milan, force of habit i had it tied around my hand so he couldn’t get it and took off running immediately….but still crazy

Given that NFL players are the American equivalent of our rugby players, it must have been one brazen criminal looking to snatch that bag.
