On Sunday, 5 October 2025, Robert MacIntyre became the first Scot to win the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in 20 years.

South Africa was also represented by Richard Sterne, who claimed the number three spot.

- Mike Rutherford (Genesis and Mike and the Mechanics)
- Tico Torres (Bon Jovi)

As with most glamorous sports events, numerous extravagant events accompany the competition.

One of these is a Saturday gala night attended by celebs like Bill Murray, Andy Murray, Piers Morgan and Zeta-Jones.
The gala often features performances by a few of the attending musicians, and this year was no exception.
Piers Morgan posted a video of Zeta-Jones performing on his story.

It shows the actress, who has a musical background, singing the 2016 Adele single 'When We Were Young'.

While Catherine Zeta-Jones is an accomplished actress and singer, the video has generated some negative responses.
HELLO! Magazine shared the video on their Facebook page, and the comments began rolling in.
While it might not have been the star's best performance, there are very few people who can compete with a vocalist like Adele.
Here are just a few of the very honest comments:
- "Oh please STOP, sounds like a cat in pain".
- "Very few can sing Adele’s songs and CZJ is clearly not one of them!!"
- "Never sing after a few drinks."
- "Oh dear..."
- "Adele doesn’t have to worry then .."
