It's a family affair: The Goliaths are ready to be the hosts with the most
Kate, Donovan, Nicholas, and Jason Goliath have combined forces and together will be hosting the 13th Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards (SCCCA) on 2 May at The Lyric Theatre, Johannesburg.
As comedians, the Goliaths have long been a South African institution.
The First Family of Funny, if you will.
This year, the four Goliaths will be taking the stage as hosts, with the theme of the Comics' Choice Awards being "It's A Family Affair".
If there's one thing every family experiences, it's chaos, love, and laughter, and as hosts, they will bring these all-too-relatable moments to the awards show as well.
But don't be fooled, one of the Goliaths is not like the others.
Jason, his sister Kate and their cousin Nicholas all share the gift of humour, and although he isn't blood-related, Donovan's surname is enough to get him into the group.
He is also equally as hilarious.
The four of them have accomplished so much together, which also proves that their plan to team up was not just an innovative approach, but a successful one.
Their comedy philosophy is all about inclusion.
Family is the backbone of our company. We work as a family, with understanding and grace and also deep honesty and liability to each other. We will all drop everything to save each other, and it has proven to us that blood and water can mix and be the right thickness creating a lifetime bond.
