Before playlists were a thing, this was the closest you could get.
In 2024, one Spotify user has gone and combined the CDs of our youth with the technology of today to bring you a full NOW! playlist.
The playlist is called Now 1 - 114 and features all songs from the first album released in 1983 to the most recent compilation.

The story of how the Now compilations came to be is quite an interesting one.
Now was a joint venture between two of the UK's biggest record labels, EMI and Virgin, and got its name from a poster advertising bacon.
Here are a few other fun facts about the famous albums:
- The first song on the first album was 'You Can't Hurry Love' by Phil Collins.
- The first album entered the chart at number seven, climbed to number one, and stayed there for five weeks.
- Now That's What I Call Music 4 was the first to be released on CD and the record labels were reluctant to approve the new format. Copies can now be sold for up to £600 (R14,000).
- Now had a serious rival titled The Hits, which was launched by CBS and WEA in 1984.
- Madonna has only appeared on the albums as a featured artist and Michael Jackson has only been featured twice.
- The 116 editions feature 2,409 artists.
- Robbie Williams has appeared the most times, 38, which includes 32 solo appearances and six as part of Take That.
- Kylie Minogue is tied with Robbie Williams for most appearances as a solo act.
- Willow Smith is the youngest artist to feature on an album, at age nine with the track, 'Whip My Hair'.
