It was a picture that kept many of us company as we entered the Internet age.

If you didn't know, the picture might seem too perfect, but it is an actual photograph.

The picture was captured by Chuck O'Rear in 1996 while travelling through Sonoma County, California.

Microsoft purchased the image and named it 'Bliss', making it the default screensaver on every computer with Windows XP installed in 2001.

The area has changed significantly since the picture was taken almost 30 years ago.
