The streaming platform has shared their Engagement Report for the first half of 2025.
Netflix has been at the forefront of the streaming industry for many years.

The streaming giant has been known to get it right, with original series like 'Squid Game' and 'Bridgerton' becoming instant hits.
This year appears to be no different for Netflix, even though other competitors are also upping their game and gaining popularity.

Netflix has shared their Engagement Report for January 2025 to July 2025.
In the report, they have highlighted watchtime (or engagement), which they say is their best indicator of member happiness.

They also shared the list of most-watched shows and movies, as well as other interesting statistics on viewership.
The report captures 99% of all worldwide viewing for the first half of 2025, with viewers spending 95 billion hours watching.
Here are some of the highlights
- Viewers continue to engage with Netflix Originals with shows like 'Orange Is the New Black', 'Ozark' and 'Money Heist' with over 100-million hours viewed.
- Movies 'Red Notice', 'Leo' and 'We Can Be Heroes' each had over 20-million views.
- WWE premiered on Netflix in January, and it generated more than 280 million hours of viewing within hours across all its events, including WWE RAW.

- Tyler Perry’s STRAW - 103 million hours
- The Life List - 96 million hours
- Nonnas - 58 million hours
- Adolescence was the most-watched show with 145 million hours.
- Missing You - 58 million hours
- Black Mirror Season 7 - 31 million hours
- Dept. Q Season 1 - 25-million hours
- Squid Game, the South Korean hit series, drew 231 million hours across all three seasons. The final season is the third most-watched programme of the half, garnering 72 million hours in four days.
- When Life Gives You Tangerines - 35 million hours
- The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call- Season 1 - 34 million hours
- Weak Hero: Class 1 - 22 million hours
- Weak Hero: Class 2 - 20 million hours
- Secrets We Keep (Denmark) - 34 million hours
- Number 24 (Norway) - 24 million hours
- The Åre Murders Season 1 (Sweden) - 33 million hours
- The Breakthrough (Sweden) - 29 million hours
- The Glass Dome (Sweden) - 20 million hours
- Medusa Season 1 - 21-million hours
