Rachel Kolisi shares hospital photos and health update
The media personality and philanthropist has been through a tough time in recent years and has suffered another setback.
Since becoming a public figure, Rachel Kolisi's life has been on display, and she has taken it in her stride.
Choosing to be open and honest about the most vulnerable parts of her life, not just the glitz, glam and happy days, she is one of the more relatable local celebs.
From her divorce from Springbok rugby captain Siya Kolisi and changing her surname to sharing a very real look at everything that happens behind the scenes, her kids flying to visit their dad and being alone for the first time.
In December 2025, Rachel shared a video that starts with her in October 2024 and announces her new documentary 'Falling Forward'.
As things have been taking a positive turn for Rachel, she shared pictures on Instagram this week that had many of her fans very worried.
In the post, the first picture shows Rachel lying in a hospital bed surrounded by friends and family, and the second shows her with ice being placed on her face.
Luckily, Rachel reassured her followers with a lighthearted caption:
While being in the hospital is never a pleasant experience, she is clearly taking it in her stride.

At the time of publishing, Rachel had not yet addressed the incident or explained why she was in the hospital.
