Legendary RuPaul’s Drag Race icon and fan favourite, Latrice Royale, is set to make a triumphant return to South Africa this November for two dazzling live performances in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Latrice Royale is an internationally acclaimed drag performer, actor, and motivational entertainer who captured the world’s heart on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 4, All Stars 1, and All Stars 4.

Known for her larger-than-life personality, powerful presence, and signature motto,  “Large and in charge, chunky yet funky!”, Royale has become one of the most beloved and respected queens in drag herstory.

Her story of resilience and transformation has inspired millions, turning her into a global ambassador for self-love, authenticity, and joy.

Royale’s South African tour will feature a star-studded line-up, including her husband, Christopher Hamblin, and three of South Africa’s most celebrated drag performers: Manila Von Teez, Kat Gilardi, and Stella Rosé, making this a glittering showcase of international and local drag excellence.


Her 'costars' Cape Town drag legend Kat Gilardi and rising star Stella Rosé only have love for Royale.

Known as one of South Africa’s most glamorous and respected drag performers, Manila Von Teez has dazzled audiences locally and internationally with her impeccable style, fierce stage presence, and commitment to elevating the art of drag. A former South Africa’s Got Talent runner-up and star of the popular Showmax reality TV series, Beaulah Queens van die Kaap, as well as the lifestyle talk show, Tollie en Manila Show, Von Teez continues to inspire with her advocacy for visibility, inclusivity, and pride.

Kat Gilardi

A true Cape Town drag icon, Kat Gilardi has been a trailblazer in the local drag and cabaret scene for over a decade. A fellow Beaulah Queens van die Kaap star, Gilardi is known for her wit, powerhouse performances, and unapologetic authenticity. She has become a mentor and role model for emerging drag talent across the country.

Stella Rosé

One of South Africa’s brightest rising stars in drag, Stella Rosé is known for her bold looks, captivating performances, and magnetic charm. She represents a new generation of South African drag artists redefining glamour and expression with passion, humour, and heart.

Christopher Hamblin

Christopher Hamblin is an accomplished musician, composer, and performer, best known as the husband and creative partner of drag superstar Latrice Royale. 

A classically trained pianist and gifted vocalist, Hamblin has performed across the United States and internationally, captivating audiences with his soulful artistry and magnetic stage presence.


With a background in theatre and music direction, Hamblin has worked on numerous live productions, blending his love of performance with his passion for storytelling through music. 

His on-stage chemistry with Royale has become a beloved highlight of their joint tours, bringing a heartfelt and authentic dynamic to every show.


Hamblin’s artistry bridges musical sophistication with emotional depth: whether accompanying Royale in cabaret performances, producing original music, or creating unforgettable live moments that celebrate love, resilience, and joy. 

Together, he and Latrice have built a powerful creative partnership rooted in mutual respect, humour, and shared purpose.
