You know the festive season is in full swing when you start to hear Christmas music everywhere.

From Mariah Carey to Christmas carols, nothing puts you in the festive mood like music.

So, naturally, when you combine Christmas music with adorable school children, you’ll get a viral video that is too good not to share.

Five Scottish schoolboys have reached thousands all across the world with their sweet performance.

Erin Chalmers was surprised to find a video on her digital doorbell of the primary school boys singing the Wham! hit ‘Last Christmas’.

According to BBC News, Chalmers thought it was “the best thing” she had ever seen and decided to post it on social media.

It didn’t take long for Jack Campbell, Dylan Thompson, Cameron Bourne, Liam McPhillips, and Ollie Shearer to become viral sensations.

The boys had decided to leave their song on the doorbell “to get you in the Christmas spirit”.

The video has over 1,5 million views.

Chalmers told BBC News Scotland that her husband had sent her a message to check the doorbell.

When she first saw the group of children, she was suspicious.

The video shows the five boys launch into song and ends with Dylan saying “love you” before they walk off.

Chalmers was so moved she says she wanted to laugh and cry at the same time.

Chalmers posted the video asking if anyone knew the children when one of them replied saying “that’s me and my pals”.

Other comments on the video said that Erin owed them a little something, and she asked them to come around so she could pay them.

Not only have the boys made an international impact, but their parents couldn’t be prouder.

Their mothers said they were overwhelmed by the response.

Collette (Liam’s mom): “Liam feels like a superstar, he genuinely does. He's just a good boy with a big energy, I'm so proud of him. It’s such a positive thing that they've done."

Stephanie (Dylan’s mom): “I can't believe it. We were walking to school and one of the parents said, 'there he is, the wee celebrity'. Dylan thinks he's a superstar. It's nice to see the comments everybody has written about them. 

Diane (Jack’s mom): “I watched it and I was blown away, it was just so cute. I phoned him and asked if he knew he was on TikTok and he said he did. They just went to a random door and chapped it."

Kerry (Cameron’s mom): “He's just excited, as a wee boy would be. It's lovely, we've had so many kind messages."

Hannah (Ollie’s mom): "It's gone absolutely nuts. When I saw it, my wee heart melted. I'm absolutely proud of them."
