It is also a game that is bound to end in disaster or success, depending on who is paired together.

People might not be aware that there is an Afrikaans version of 30 Seconds, and even if Afrikaans is your first or only language, this video is proof that it might not even be an advantage.

South African TikToker Caitlin Hood recently shared a Christmas Day video of her family playing the Afrikaans 30 Seconds after she allegedly accidentally bought the "normal" version instead.

The result was absolutely hilarious as she filmed her family trying their absolute best to describe Afrikaans concepts.

Even though it is clear that they can speak and understand Afrikaans, the struggle was still very real.

One viewer pointed out: "I’m Afrikaans and I would’ve gotten broken🤣🤣🤣".

Given that most of us have only played 30 Seconds in English, it's fair to say we all might also stumble over our words and find our Afrikaans bundles depleted while playing.

South Africans have been laughing along, and the video has over 300,000 views combined on social media.
