Viewers spot ridiculous error in 'Bridgerton' season four

Dearest gentle reader, can you spot the one item that is not like the others?

Remember when 'Game of Thrones' was ripped apart by viewers, fans, critics, and haters for accidentally leaving a Starbucks cup in a scene?

The Lannisters and Starks were obviously not sipping on coffee from Starbucks.

The fantasy series is not the only one to accidentally bring a modern item into a bygone era.

One of the most anticipated series for 2026, 'Bridgerton' season four, has finally arrived and has received glowing reviews.

Unfortunately, it seems that those in the Ton aren't as perfect as they seem, and one blooper has once again riled up the internet.

Although we have to admit, this had to be spotted by an eagle-eyed viewer.

The Netflix show has a minor editing error in its very first episode: Katie Leung ('Harry Potter'), who plays the evil stepmother Araminta, is seen wearing an accessory that wasn't available in the 1800s.

One TikTok video went viral, calling out the mistake.

As it turns out, viewers spotted a small, flesh colored Band-Aid on her left ear to cover her cartilage piercing.

The video now has over 1.5 million views, and people are not afraid to share how they feel about this slip-up.

  • “I wish they had covered it better—like put a fancy ear cuff up there or something.”
  • “Okay, so I wasn't crazy when I saw that?”
  • “I saw another post where an actresses [sic] cartilage piercing wasn't covered or edited out during the garden party I believe and people were going nuts over it.”

Leung and Netflix have not yet commented on the mistake.
