'Networking Queen' Helen Nicholson: Why moms should network
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Helen Nicholson is our guest this week and is affectionately known as South Africa's 'Networking Queen'.
She has written two books on the topic, ‘Networking for Introverts’ (2024) and ‘Mindfulness: How to Stay Sane in an Insane World’ (2022).
Networking is about “intentional relationship building,” she says.
“We need other people to cover our weaknesses.”
In other words, finding people who are better at certain tasks and skills than we are helps to create a vital support circle.
And goodness, do we need a support circle!
