The server was shocked, but undoubtedly overjoyed by the immense tip.
A server at Massimo’s, an Italian eatery based in Hout Bay, Western Cape, recently received a very generous tip from a patron.

From the till slip, you can see that the patron had a normal looking bill that amounted to R383, so the normal tip would have been around R38.
However, the patron decided to make the server’s day and added a massive 940% tip, leaving the server with R3,617.

According to Good Things Guy, the waiter ran after the patron and asked if they did not make a mistake, but it was all legitimate, and the love was appreciated.
