Woman publicly rejects best friend’s proposal

For one gentleman in China, letting the woman he loves know just how much she means to him meant going all out to ensure the proposal would be something the woman would remember for the rest of her life.

According to Mirror, the guy made a heart using his best friend’s favourite fruit - 999 pomelos - in front of the University mall. He did not end there. The poor guy even went as far as singing for the woman of his dreams “she is my idol” with flowers in his hands.

"She likes eating pomelos, so I’ve bought a lot of them for my proposal,” he reportedly told a Chinese publication, China Xinhua News. But unfortunately for him, it wasn’t to be. According to the publication, the woman, Mumu, sadly turned his proposal down. “I don’t like you. I have been treating you as my best friend. But I’ll keep the pomelos,” she reportedly said.

Ouch. How sad!
