‘Drunk’ policeman in uniform seen fighting man

A video has gone viral showing a policeman in uniform fighting a man in an unknown location in South Africa.

The incident happened in front of a shop. The policeman can be seen fighting the guy in front of other men, who can be heard laughing.

The video has been shared over 7,000 times and received hundreds of comments, with many slamming the policeman for his behaviour.

Another policeman, Ettienne Conradie, wrote: “I am a policeman, that is just awfull and disgusting. Speechless!!!”, while others called for disciplinary action.

Ajay Juggernath wrote: “And that ,my people , is exactly why citizens are losing respect for the police.I dont care if he was off duty or still on duty(obviously more serious if still on duty) .Behaving in that manner while in uniform is unacceptable.I hope a higher power gets to watch this video and take action against this "officer".
